This is my third short flannel dress from KJP. I love the way they fit. The tie makes the waist extra flattering. I have a large chest and the buttons don’t pull. I was worried about the short style at first, but I wear with tights for extra warmth and modesty and it is perfect.
Feeling grinchy? Don't want to socialize anymore and just stay in bed? This dress really helped me "feel" the holidays and push through more work and family functions when I might've just "called in sick." Sometimes you just need the right outfit and this dress did that for me! With Christmases in the mid-Atlantic getting warmer and warmer, short dresses in winter are actually do-able. This particular green is festive and the flannel is so soft! I've been wearing this with green tights and honey/brown leather booties. My concerns prior to the purchase regarding my body type were 1- Is the waist too high on these dresses which would accentuate my pear-shaped bottom half via the flare of the dress? Answer: nope! The waist does not make me feel like an adult honey-boo-boo. 2- Will it button comfortably around my chest? Answer: yes! Size "Large" will accommodate 32DDD--please note that other Large button-up dresses from KJP don't always have this chest-room I am very happy with my Woodstock dress!
