A Little Disappointed But I Like It

I bought this for a friend to be symbolic of the nature of our relationship. "Anchored and Strong" but when I opened the box I was disappointed with the material as I expected it to be much thicker.
From the picture it appeared to be a sturdy band of coiled leather of some sort but in actuality it was much thinner. The anchor itself is really nice. I haven't gifted my friend with this as of yet
Still on the fence but overall I like the concept.
