Cozy Pumpkin Sweater - Men's

I've had my eyes on this sweater for a few years now, and it was definitely worth the wait.

I got a size larger than usual, as was suggested by many people in the reviews, and I'm glad I did as it fits me like a glove - the smaller size I'd usually get likely would've been a bit snug. The material itself doesn't feel cheap and, aside from the expected scratchiness these kind of sweaters are known for, I found it to be very soft, feeling great to wear with enough looseness to be comfortable and enough elasticity to feel well-fitting.

My one gripe, and the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5, is that the brown colour shown in the pictures isn't as true to the colour the sweater actually is, whether that be due to background elements, filters, or otherwise. I'd expected a rich chestnut brown, but the sweater is more of a green-toned brown which, while definitely making the sweater and its colours feel more cohesive, can make it harder to pair with other warm-toned brown items as they cause it to look a little washed-out.

With all that in mind, I can't wait to make use of this sweater for the coming years, its sure to be a wardrobe staple.

Great sweater, but be aware that they run smaller than your actual size. So if you’re normally a XL you’ll need to get a XXL or if you’re a L you’ll need to get an XL for the best fit!! Other than that, they’re really good!!

This is the perfect fall sweater! It can transition from September, October, and into November perfectly. The quality is amazing and it is timeless.

As someone who typically wears a women's size 10/12 and prefers a longer, slightly oversized fit, I opted for the men's XL in this sweater, and I’m so glad I did. The length is perfect for that cozy, cabin-weekend vibe I love, though I do cuff the sleeves for a more tailored look, as they are a bit long.

Visually, it’s a fall classic with warm tones, charming details, and just the right amount of seasonal flair. The pumpkin motif and Fair Isle detailing are lovely without being overdone. It’s not quite as soft out of the box as some of KJP’s higher wool content sweaters, but I gave it a gentle cold-water wash with fabric softener and dried it flat. It softened beautifully and held its shape, although I’ll note the tag says “dry clean only,” so proceed with caution if you try this method.

Overall, this sweater will be a seasonal favorite. It’s adorable, comfortable, and now perfectly soft. If you’re between sizes or prefer a relaxed silhouette, consider sizing up, or, like me, opt for the men’s version.
