Essex Patchwork Madras Wrap Skirt

I can’t wait to wear this particularly on the fourth but really all rest of the summer. The skirt is really well made and the colors are vibrant.

KJP is a fun brand with great quality clothing, but their sizing is all over the place. This skirt is very nicely made and beautiful, but it ran large. I bought it on the larger size because some of their other items I’ve had run small. When you have to pay for shipping to order and also return, it makes me hesitant to make online purchases from them without knowing how items will fit.

The most amazing skirt only thing to note is it runs a bit big!

The fit is off. I wish I hadn’t been so anxious and taken off the tags. I love the madras patches for the 250th anniversary, but this skirt looks awful on me.

This skirt runs at least two sizes large, and it's designed to sit more at the hip than the natural waist. I really wanted to love it, but I am short-waisted and curvy. I think it would look fabulous on someone who's tall with a long torso, but just didn't work for me. Size down dramatically if you want to give it a try. The construction and fabric weight are absolutely fantastic, it's so well made. I was sad when I returned it.
