I have to say that I quite like this shirt, although it is not particularly well made, especially for the price. First, the good: the fabric is very thick and, yes... cozy. A lot has been said about these shirts running on the small side, however, they are true to size if you are not deluding yourself. These are not exactly a slim or athletic fit, but KJP does not vanity size as aggressively as most other American brands (thankfully). OK, now the not so good: the construction is rather sloppy. Take, for example, the back yoke; the tartan pattern is clearly misaligned. None of my other plaid shirts are like this. And once you see it, you can't really unsee it. There are also a few smaller buttons to close the sleeves and stay the collar. However, the button holes for these buttons are the same size as those for the larger buttons, meaning these buttons simply slip right through the holes -not a great design choice. Lastly, there is an extra button sewn on the shirt, presumably in case you should lose one. But this button is sewn about an inch below the last button, facing out -which makes it look like your shirt is either coming open or that your buttons are misaligned -another very odd design. Luckily, it was easy to remove (as are most of the buttons, unfortunately). I might have forgiven some of these shortcomings, given the plush fabric and good fit, but cost is a factor here and with that, I can't in good faith give this shirt more than a 2/5.
