Very pretty dress. I’m 5’6 and currently 140 lbs. im usually about 135 but always a 32DD. I notmally wear a size 4 or 6 dress but sized up bc the busts on Kiel James Patrick dresses rubs very small. I msy have to shorten it about an inch, even with boots. The fabric and cut is very flattering. I suggest your own belt in Navy for added flair but tge one they send is cute too.
I’ve been eyeing this dress in all the colors for a few seasons, and finally took the plunge for a Christmas special treat. Reading other reviews, it seemed better to size up a bit from my normal size 4 (5’7”, 125 lbs), so I ordered size 6. It fits perfectly in the bodice, the sleeves are delightfully long enough, the skirt is just full enough, and the pockets are wonderful. As a fashion design instructor, I was concerned about the plaids not matching (as some reviews indicated), the critical ones in front are well matched—while the side seam plaids do not match, I can live with it. Length is a bit long but will be fine when my daughter (5’10”) borrows my new dress. The cabin embroidery is adorable! Belt loops are a bit high, but I will lower them. Quality of the flannel is lovely! Thank you for continuing to make classic styles.
This dress is beautiful comfortable and flattering. This will be a staple that I use for years to come. The fabric is beautiful and festive. The length of the dress and weight of the dress are prefect as well. Highly recommend!
Dress is gorgeous and true to size. Unlike a lot of tie waist dresses that are cut straight, this has a slight flare that creates a really smooth fit and no bunching fabric. Length and fabric were great. My only complaint is the bust was a tad tight and I’m hardly large on top as a 36 B. I wore a size 6 at 5’ 7” 140 lbs.
I love that this dress hits me perfectly and that it’s so cozy, but still fashionable and festive!
