This is a great sweater. I do have 2 complaints though...(1) The smell. I have the Fox cardigan and it doesn't smell like Grandma's musty basement. This does. (2) The antler snag. Apparently this is normal (picture attached is from the website) but it is still a flaw. As an international buyer with exchange and duties, the bar is set pretty high. For reference, I am 5'3", 125lbs, 34B and the XS is a fitted fit. Wouldn't want it to shrink though! Overall, I can't help but love it.
I really wanted to love this sweater because it’s undeniably cute, but it’s been a major letdown. I ordered an XL knowing they run small and it really fits more like a smaller medium - definitely not true to size. The biggest issue, though, is the smell. It has a horrific chemical odor that has completely taken over my closet, even after airing it out for 10 straight days and trying some other internet tricks. Nothing has helped, and I honestly don’t know how to fix it. This makes it unwearable. Later on and too late I researched this and it is a pretty common problem with some of their sweaters, so they must be aware of it. How are they still selling them?!?
On top of that, the material is very scratchy. More than other 3 KJP sweaters I own. This one might be the last straw. I’m really disappointed and won’t be ordering again. I just got a very expensive cute sweater that I need to get rid off.
I've had my eye on this sweater since it came out but scooped it up when it went on sale. It's beautiful and yet another KJP classic.
