Après Ski Fair Isle Sweater

I really wanted to love this sweater because it’s undeniably cute, but it’s been a major letdown. I ordered an XL knowing they run small and it really fits more like a smaller medium - definitely not true to size. The biggest issue, though, is the smell. It has a horrific chemical odor that has completely taken over my closet, even after airing it out for 10 straight days and trying some other internet tricks. Nothing has helped, and I honestly don’t know how to fix it. This makes it unwearable. Later on and too late I researched this and it is a pretty common problem with some of their sweaters, so they must be aware of it. How are they still selling them?!?
On top of that, the material is very scratchy. More than other 3 KJP sweaters I own. This one might be the last straw. I’m really disappointed and won’t be ordering again. I just got a very expensive cute sweater that I need to get rid off.

Love this sweater! Had to take a star off for customer service though. Ordered this in the wrong size on sale (final sale/no returns). Checked the website in hopes that the size I needed was still available and it was so I had high hopes that an exchange would still be possible as other high end shoppes offer this even on final sales. Unfortunately I was given a cold copy/pasted reply on their policy. If the sweater wasn’t fully in stock I would completely understand not being able to exchange it based on their policy, but the reply on my request was so cold this makes me not want to continue shopping here. It’s a shame since the owners seem like awesome genuine people and everything I have ordered in the past I have absolutely loved!

This sweater is absolutely beautiful, warm and cozy. I take one star off because it had a very “wool” smell to it and I am hoping that that fades with time. Wore it two days in a row and got many compliments. I wear a shirt under it so that it doesn’t feel itchy.
