Vintage: Brooks Brothers Lacoste Polo

A short time before Izod had the licensing rights to produce Rene Lacoste's already iconic crocodile clad polo shirt for the US market, Brooks Brothers had a hand in manufacturing a small run of these colorful shirts in the late 40s and early 50s. This shirt, with its generous collar points, Brooks Brothers/ Lacoste label, and iconic green pique cotton fabric, is an incredible piece of fashion history. This rare example with shorter shirt tales is sure to be an incredible addition to anyone's clothing collection...or museum!
