The McCallister Sweater

I absolutely love this beautiful sweater. It's going to get a lot of wear.

I really like my new sweater, it's great quality not cheap looking, fits well and I can't wait to wear next holiday season.

I like the color combination of this cozy sweater. It is well-made, true to size and soft.

Oh my goodness--This print is so much fun! This is a wonderful Christmas sweater--thick, weighty, and substantial. In addition, the colors are subtle, sedate, and nature-inspired, so I see no reason why one couldn't wear this sweater for the entire fall and winter season.

My daughter has been eyeing my wonderful 20 year old Christmas sweater for years. When I saw the McAllister sweater (and on sale), I knew it was time to grant my daughter’s wish and splurge on a new Christmas sweater for myself. While I am not a fan of acrylic yarn (they pill and don’t age well), this wool/acrylic combo looks and wears wonderfully so far! The sweater colors are delightfully understated, design is authentically Scandinavian, and the fit is fabulous…roomy, a bit slouchy, but not baggy, nice long sleeves and body, with enough elasticity to keep its shape. I will wear it all winter long, and should have bought the matching socks. 😊
