I’ve been following and falling in love with the KJP brand for YEARS, but I’d never pulled the trigger (products are a bit out of my price range). I finally decided to purchase this half-zip during the Black Friday sale. I rarely buy clothes that don’t have free returns, but I compared measurements and figured a half-zip was pretty safe. I was wrong.
The packaged arrived quickly and in beautiful wrapping, but I was disappointed with the product itself. The sleeves were too short—they just barely grazed my wrists when my arms were at my side, but as soon as I moved the fit became awkward and uncomfortable. I have never in my life had this issue with clothing. And unfortunately, I wouldn’t be able to size up because the actual torso was already too wide (for the high price tag I was expecting a much slimmer, more flattering fit overall). For reference, I am 5’7”, 125lbs, 34C cup.
I thought long and hard about keeping the piece because of what I was going to lose in shipping costs, but in the end I decided I had to return it. So now I have no KJP products, and I’m out $18. Pretty upsetting. At almost $20 per try on I can’t risk another purchase, so it seems I’ll just have to admire KJP from afar. Please consider rethinking your shipping policies—$18 is a lot of money to lose when something doesn’t fit (after I used your measurement guide).
