The material is very soft! I ordered a large... not sure if I did that by accident or on purpose, it was a pre-order item so it shipped a while after I actually ordered. I am normally a small/medium, so this was pretty big on me. I wish I got a medium, but overall I would say it is true to size.
I have had my eye on this Newport Tennis Sweatshirt since it came out a few years ago. It is made well, and fits well. At 5' 6" with a long torso and arms, and I ordered a medium. I do find KJP sizing to be very inconstant across items, but this one you could easily wear your typical size or a size larger depending on how you would like it to fit. While unisex, it fits like the women's sizing.
I just adore these sweatshirts, so comfy and cute and they (both the Newport Tennis and Coastal New England) fit like a dream!
Very soft and comfortable. Washes well with no shrinking or pilling. A really nice sweatshirt!
