I had this coat saved for a long time because I loved the sleek but classic yellow design reminiscent of old-timey fishermen's slickers brought into the modern era but was hesitant about the price. What finally pushed me to buy it was a recent trip to Ireland for which I was advised that a quality raincoat is an absolute necessity. Sure enough, there was a particularly rainy day on which most of my itinerary was outside, and the coat thoroughly did its job at keeping me as dry as possible.
That said, the fit is odd. I ordered the medium because it would have a comfortable fit per the measurements listed. The body of the coat has the perfect amount of space (generous/comfortable without being too baggy) and the arms are a good length, but the armpits are far too tight even wearing only a thin T-shirt underneath, and the hood is almost comically large. I thought it might just be my body proportions, but apparently I'm not the only one to notice the tightness in that area. I considered exchanging it for a large so that the armholes fit better and might have done so if I'd had enough time before my trip, but that would have also made the body too large and perhaps the hood even larger, so I'm sticking with it and may eventually try to get it altered.
TLDR: beautiful classic-inspired coat with an awkward fit
