Holiday Patchwork Kids Flannel Shirt

My 3-years old grandson adores this flannel, enjoys how soft it feels (no t-shirt needed underneath like some flannels that are stiff & uncomfortable). He has also worn it as a second-layer jacket as temperatures became warmer. The rich, saturated colors launder perfectly with no shrinkage…excellent KJP quality. He lives in coastal SC and we live in the mountains of NC, he calls this favorite shirt his “mountain-cabin” shirt! The size 3 fit true to size for his average body type, and taller height.

I bought this shirt with a few of their other flannels for my son, and I really love the colors of this one. They are not too bright and are multi-seasonal. As with their other shirts, it is well made with a soft flannel and includes special details, like the buttons and embroidery.

The shirt is well made with soft flannel, and the colors are perfect for fall. The attention to detail (arrows on buttons, log cabin embroidery) add a special touch. My son did not want to take the shirt off when he tried it on, so that's a good sign!

Very nice patchwork flannel shirt reminiscent of the ones worn by your father and grandfather during the colder months. It does run a little small, I sized my 8.5 year old up to a 10 and that fit perfectly. I ordered 3 different patterns in the flannel shirt and while you need to size up in all styles, the fabric is not the same on every one - the patchwork is stiffer than the others. It’s not uncomfortable but just be aware for your sensitive littles that you’ll probably need to wash this one several times before it softens up over time. Really like this shirt, looks great on him and should see a lot of use this winter.

This is the cutest flannel! My son wore it on Christmas Eve and everyone couldn’t stop saying how cute he looked. I recommend sizing up as there is no stretch but it’s excellent quality, very soft and warm. 5 stars!
