Cottage Duck Sweater in Pink

I’ve had my eye on this for a while and finally decided to order it. I’m so glad I did. It’s very colorful and true to size. Can’t wait to wear it.

The sweater colors are so bright! Sweater is a very nice weight. Very well made. Runs large, though. I usually wear a medium and it was too big. Unfortunately or fortunately who reads this, my daughter was more than happy to take it off my hands. She wore it to school and got so many compliments!!

I got my Harbor Gull Sweater for Mother's Day and wore it to brunch with friends. I got so many compliments from both friends and strangers! The quality is fantastic and the fair isle style will always be a classic. Thank you!

I'm a longtime customer who has purchased many items. This review is for the pink Cottage Duck sweater.

When I say I've purchased many items, I'm talking about I've purchased 20 items from KJP just in the first few months of this year.

I started being a customer about five years ago, and unfortunately I have noticed a change in the quality of the items.

The design of the sweater is really lovely. The fit is incredibly bad.

It's not about choosing the wrong size or the right size, the sweater is made in China probably on some kind of an AI type design machine. I cannot believe that any person designed this sweater.

The sleeves fit incredibly loosely, and I've never had a sweater in any size with super loose fitting sleeves. The bodice fits inconsistently, parts of it are large, other parts are not.

I'm disappointed that more KJP items are being made in China, because I think that is part of the source of the issue.

I'm thinking possibly that the cotton used might be some kind of lesser quality short staple cotton, because it is weird and baggy in some spots, and slightly fitted in other spots.

I was on the verge of returning it, but I kept it because I love the design. I'm really very disappointed in how it fits, and the only way I can see wearing it would be with a jacket over it so no one can see how strangely proportioned it is. Wearing a jacket on top of a thick spring sweater in May is not ideal, as it is usually not cold enough to do so. And really, I shouldn't have to wear a jacket over it just to hide the odd fit and inconsistent shape of it.

I really have been a very big fan of KJP, however this is not the first time I have seen oddly fitting and inconsistent products from them. I will have to make a decision whether or not to continue if this level of quality keeps up.

I have some really lovely pieces from KJP that I think are wonderful. I have noticed a steady decline in the quality since the items have started being made in China.

Please, KJP, do something about that, as myself and many other customers really would like to remain loyal customers.

I love this sweater. The 100% cotton feels so nice, and the colors and design are just so happy. I’m finding it difficult to restrain myself from buying all the KJP sweaters.
