Jacqueline Patchwork Madras Skirt

High quality and just so pretty. I wear it with a fitted tank and it looks great. I’m a reliable size 6 and the small was a perfect fit. I do wish there was a little belt loop at the center back waistband. The tie wraps around and that would help keep it in place. Highly recommend this skirt.

I wanted this skirt last year but it sold out quickly. Finally, I ordered it this year.

It is a beautiful skirt but the colors lack vibrancy are much more muted and dark than in the illustration photograph. The blues are nearly black-navy or a faded pale blue and the dominant colors are olive and and burgundy with some red and pale yellow. I was attracted to this pattern because of the bright pops of blue.

What disappoints me preventing 5 stars are the pockets. I love a skirt with pockets but the shape of the pockets is awkward...rather than being rounded to accommodate one's hands, the pockets are very narrow strips of fabric that have a straight edge where the fingers should go making them unusable. Over-all, the skirt is not what I expected at all. I plan to keep the skirt because I hate returning things.

This is my third piece from KJP and the aesthetic of the brand is fantastic. Unfortunately, it's the little details that matter and those details aren't quite there.
