Pink Stripe Regatta Shift Dress

I bought this dress in the only size they had which was 12, even though I am an 8. KJP generally runs a bit small for me but I am a sewist so I bought the 12 because I figured I would just tailor it myself. The fabric is high quality and the colors are bright, generally lasting beyond the first wash. The dress is fully lined and the embroidery detailing is flat and even on the face fabric, which I appreciate as some of these low quality brands have bunching and misshapen embroidery. 10/10 stars

The bottom of the dress does not sit straight. The top layer bunches up at the bottom.

I actually tried on this dress at a favorite local boutique, but it was too tight. So, since the boutique didn't have multiple sizes in stock, I came home and ordered the next larger size online. Fits well!

Beautiful dress but i do think it runs big. Size down! I bought a 16 (5’3” 200 lbs) and definitely could have done a 14. Keeping and will have taken in because it really is beautiful
